Le groupe Lohia, conglomérat industriel indien dont le siège se trouve à Kanpur, en Inde, a annoncé être entré dans le secteur de l’aérospatiale et de la défense en acquérant la firme israélienne Light & Strong Ltd., fabricant de fibre de carbone et de composants de fibre de verre pour les domaines de l’aérospatiale et l’armée.
« Le pedigree établi de l’entreprise israélienne dans la fabrication de technologies militaires s’intègre en toute synergie à l’expertise longue de plusieurs décennies du Lohia Group dans l’industrie à grande échelle trans-sectorielle », a noté Lohia dans un communiqué. (Times of Israel)
Lohia Group of companies is based in Kanpur, a city in North India. Way back in mid ’70s, they diversified from their traditional business to venture into plastics industry and engineering and thus started a long tradition of excellence in manufacturing. Since then Lohia Group has been dedicatedly serving the market in the field of textiles and flexible packaging for more than three decades. Today the group comprise of two companies.
