L’avion eVTOL de la start-up israélienne AIR pourrait 
révolutionner l’aviation privée et a déjà reçu une 
approbation historique des autorités américaines.
Rani Plaut est PDG et cofondateur d'AIR, une start-up 
qui révolutionne la mobilité aérienne grâce aux eVTOL, 
destinés au transport de passagers et de marchandises 
à grande échelle. Fort d'une solide formation en mathématiques, 
en physique et dans les technologies automobiles et aérospatiales, 
Rani a mené une brillante carrière auprès de plusieurs constructeurs 
automobiles et siégé aux conseils d'administration de nombreuses 
entreprises technologiques et fonds de capital-risque. 

Avant de cofonder AIR, il était PDG et cofondateur de Bmax, 
un fournisseur majeur de solutions de pointe pour le traitement 
des métaux.

Rani Plaut wanders through the giant workshop of his startup company, AIR, located behind a shopping mall in the drab Pardes Hanna industrial zone. A team member calls out to him, to come check out the new plane under construction. The craft is the size of a family car, with a large cabin that resembles the inside of a pickup truck. Designed to carry heavy cargo or a driver and passenger, it can take off from anywhere to a distance of 100 miles.
